An Authorised Signatory User has Permission to electronically authorise the submission of higher security Requests to Product Providers (Change of Bank Account). Any User can apply to be an Authorised Signatory. Simply click the link on the Authorised Signatory section on the Home Page and follow the instructions on screen.
Authorised Signatory permissions do not become active until a Director / Principal at the firm has
approved the application. This is achieved as follows:
1. A printed letter is posted from Origo to The Principal at your firm containing the Approval
instructions
2. Once approved, the new Authorised Signatory User is sent a Welcome Email
Upon submitting a Request, if you are a registered Authorised Signatory on the service
then you will be prompted immediately to answer a Secret Question to double check your
Identity before the Request proceeds to the next stage.
If another user submits a change of bank details request, the authorised signatory can approve it by clicking Manage requests>authorise from the homepage.
When the Authorised Signatory User double-clicks a Request in the list they will be presented with the Request Authorisation section (see Figure 5.13 previous page) on the Request Summary screen. There are two options:
1. Authorise the Request by answering the Secret Question and clicking Authorise.
2. Reject the Request by typing in a reason for the rejection, answering the Secret Question
and clicking Reject.
